Description
I will discuss a rigorous derivation of nonlinear Gibbs measures from many-body quantum Bose gases at just above the critical temperature of the Bose-Einstein phase transition. Since the Gibbs measures are singular, the derivation requires a Wick renormalization in a semiclassical limit. Our proof relies on a novel method to control the quantum variance. This is joint work with Mathieu Lewin and Nicolas Rougerie.
