In this talk, we shall present a new method of estimating heat kernel derivatives. We consider the setting of complete non-compact Riemannian manifolds, which include hyperbolic spaces. The techniques used involve upper bounds of the heat kernel itself and iterative arguments. Joint work with A. Fotiadis.
