DESCRIPTION:École de Physique des Houches From Sunday the 26th of februar
y to the 3th of march 2023Arrival on sunday the 26th of February from 3pm.
The school will be closed before 3pm\, you cannot arrive before !!The cou
rse will begin on monday at 9am and finished on friday at 12amThe room mus
t be vacated at 9am on friday morning.Speakers:Maud De Visscher (City Univ
ersity\, London)Cédric Lecouvey (Université de Tours)Paul Purdon Martin
(University of Leeds)Evgeny Mukhin (Indiana University)This school is dedi
cated to researchers (with priority given to young participants) who are i
nterested in the interactions between theoretical physics and mathematics.
More specifically\, between algebra and exactly solvable models\, and wit
h the main focus to the theory of Hecke algebras and their applications. T
here will be 4 mini-courses\, two on the mathematical aspects and two on t
he physical aspects. The two "maths" courses will be on the representation
theory of quantum groups and centralizer algebras\, and the two "physic
s" courses will be on integrable systems and statistical physics models. I
n addition there will be some short talks given by the participants. Th
e school is part of the ANR project “Applications of Hecke algebras: Rep
resentations\, Knots and Physics” and is supported by:Laboratoire de M
