Recurrence equations and formal quasi-power series

It is quite common in computer algebra, that expansions in formal power series and Laurent series are used, and also, e.g., expansions in series in falling and raising factorial powers.
It is possible  to use also other quasi-power series.

In this talk, we study recurrence relations connecting some such quasi-power expansions.
