Description
Abstract: The movement of a fluid can be modeled by a system of partial differential equations known as the Navier-Stokes equations. In order to describe the evolution of the fluid we need information about the solutions of this system. To do so, it is necessary to answer some fundamental questions about the existence, uniqueness and regularity of solutions.
In this talk, we will explain what each of these questions means and what are the answers to these questions in some cases. In other cases, these questions have not yet been completely answered and who answers it could become a millionaire*!
