A thematic programme on random geometry and quantum gravity. The governing idea is to bring together researchers from
mathematics and physics which are working on these topics. The main aim
of the program is to intensify the fruitful interactions between the researchers
in these and related communities which have been more and more converging
in the recent years in order to make significant progress on the outstanding
problems at the interface of random geometry and quantum gravity.
The main events organised during this trimester are: a
summer school (at CIRM), followed by three research workshops (at IHP).
