DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Alba Lia Masiello (Université de Naples)\n\nTorsio
 nal rigidity is a classical quantity associated with the Poisson problem w
 ithDirichlet boundary conditions and is closely related to the geometry of
  the underlyingdomain. In this talk we consider open\, bounded and convex
 sets in R^n and present sharpgeometric inequalities relating torsional rig
 idity to basic geometric quantities such as the perimeter\, the measure o
 f the set\, and the inradius. We also discuss quantitative versions of th
 ese inequalities\, where the deficit from the optimal constant provides in
 formation on thegeometry of the optimal sequences. Finally\, we address ex
 tensions of these results to torsional rigidity with Robin boundary condi
 tions\, focusing on the case of positive Robin parameter and highlighting
  the main similarities and differences with respect to the classicalDirich
 let setting.\n\nhttps://indico.math.cnrs.fr/event/17334/
