DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe aim of the school is to consider multidisciplinary asp
ects inside Mathematics. In many situations\, mathematical concepts appear
in different paradigms.\nThese offers different point of views which dese
rve to be compared with rispect to their analogies and differences. These
comparisons involve usually different extra-mathematics fields such as Phy
sics\, Biology\, Economics\, Social Sciences\, etc. that will be handled
in this school. \n \nThe main streams  considered will include: \n\n-
Typical vs. Untypical: a journey through large deviations\, by Raphaël Ch
étrite\n\n\nThis course introduces the basic theory of large deviations a
nd its main mathematical tools. It also presents applications to interacti
ng particle systems\, highlighting how large deviation principles provide
a powerful framework for studying nonequilibrium phenomena.\n\n\n- ODEs vs
. PDEs: the large number agent systems\, by Stefano Rossi\n\n\nThis course
discusses the rigorous derivation of effective kinetic PDEs starting from
the dynamics of N particles described by a system of ODEs and  the compa
rison between the behavior of finite and  infinite-particle sytems\,  wi
th regard to long-time behavior and the emergence of irreversibility.\n
 - Quantum vs. Classical optimal transport: quantizing Wasserstein\, by Thi
erry Paul.\nIn this course\, we show how most concepts from (classical) op
timal transport find their quantum counterparts in quantum mechanics throu
gh a “canonical” quantization of the Wasserstein distance. These conce
pts include Brenier’s theorem\, bipartite matching\, and Kantorovich dua
lity.\n    - Human vs. Artificial Intelligence : to think or to use\, by
Alberto Fachechi (TBC)\n    - Finite vs. infinite dimension integrabil
 ity\, between geometry and analysis\,\, by Lorenzo Baroni.\n \ntogether w
 ith many talks by  the participants.\n \n     \n \n \n\n \n\n
        Raphaël Chétrite\, Thierry Paul\, and Stefano Rossi\, orgs.\n
