 nIn this presentation\, we will talk about direction data : statistics on 
 the hyper-sphere. We will ask the following question : does a sample on S^
 {p-1} is iid ? To study this\, we will focus on the runs statistics. We wi
 ll construct the iidness test and we will show that we can construct the a
 symptotically and locally most powerful test for precised alternatives. Th
 is work is an opportunity to study the position of solar sunspots during d
 ifferents cycles. It allowed us to describe the serial dependence in the l
 ongitude of the sunspots which complete the previous work of Spörer descr
