Description
In the first part, I will review some recent developments in our understanding of the classification of solutions for energy critical nonlinear wave equations, with particular emphasis on finite time singularity development.
In the second part, I will discuss a recent result constructing arbitrarily large bubble towers for the co-rotational wave maps problem, which is closely related to the soliton resolution theorem for this model.
