An investigation based on quantum information of visual perception in color

For over five years, Michel Berthier and I have been exploring the theoretical foundations and practical implications of a model of visual perception in color based on the hypothesis that the color information produced by the human visual system has a quantum nature. I will explain what motivates this hypothesis and show the main results that follow from it. I will close the talk by highlighting a few open interdisciplinary questions, both from the perspective of psychophysical experiments and from that of mathematics.
