 ocuses on the Vlasov-Poisson system with and without collisions. This kine
 tic model encodes the multiple scales which arise in a plasma\, ranging fr
 om fluid-like behavior when collisions dominate\, to wave interactions in 
 weakly collisional regimes and fast oscillations in the quasi-neutral regi
 me. We present a numerical method for the Vlasov-Poisson system based on 
 the Hermite spectral discretization which preserves its structure in both 
 collision and collisionless regimes. We explain the key ideas to preserv
 e the large time behavior of the system in collisional settings and to cap
 ture quasi-neutral dynamics in strongly non linear regimes. We also show t
 hat the method adapts to higher dimensional frameworks.\n\nhttps://indico.
