DESCRIPTION:Motivic homotopy theory applies methods from algebraic topolog
 y to algebraic geometry\, providing a suitable framework\, via the categor
 y of motivic spectra\, for studying various cohomology theories of algebra
 ic varieties. In this talk\, I will briefly review some results about the 
 structure of motivic spectra over the complex numbers. I will then turn to
  the real setting\, which is richer and less well understood. In particula
 r\, I will define the category of real isotropic motivic spectra and descr
