Haruna Aida: Multicritical Limit of the Shifted Schur Measure

In this talk, we present a new concrete example of the correspondence between random matrices and random partitions via correlation functions.. We show that, under an appropriate scaling limit, the correlation function in the random partition theory equipped with the shifted Schur measure converges to the determinant of the p-Airy kernel. Our approach has the advantage of being mathematically rigorous, in contrast to previous arguments of a more physical nature..
