Title: A comparative overview of win ratio and joint frailty models for recurrent event endpoints with applications in oncology and cardiology
This seminar will be in English
Abstract: Composite endpoints that combine recurrent non-fatal events with a terminal event (e.g., rehospitalizations and death) pose design and analysis challenges: within-patient correlation or yet informative censoring by death can bias classical time-to-first event analysis approaches. In this work, we compare two methods for such endpoints: recurrent-event win ratio and joint frailty models, with attention to inference and trial design.
