Frobenius, a tool to (re)solve problems

Over fields of characteristic 0, given a fibration between smooth varieties, the general fibre is also smooth. This fails completely in positive characteristic and it can be the source of many headaches. However, the singularities that appear are not random and we will see how a base change with the Frobenius can help us dealing with these funny fibrations. I promise lots of easy examples!
