Quid seminar : Quid of recursive towers of curves?

In this presentation, we will discuss recursive towers of curves over finite fields. Before defining this object, we will first highlight their relevance through a concrete application: error-correcting codes. We will then present the theory of correspondences, followed by the construction of the towers and some of their key properties.
