On Patterson-Sullivan measures on the boundary of a hyperbolic group

Coornaert had a classical construction extending Patterson-Sullivan measures to the setting of quasi-convex cocompact actions on Gromov hyperbolic spaces. It has some differences with the usual Patterson-Sullivan measures, due to the lack of conformality. We will present some basic properties of these measures and discuss to which extent they are canonical and well behaved.
