Covariant hamiltonian approach to particle dynamics

The dynamics of particles with gauge-charges can be treated covariantly in the hamiltonian framework. It enables a systematic search for constants of motion, closely related to the construction of generalized Killing vectors and tensors in differential geometry. The method even applies to the dynamics of spinning particles in General Relativity.
