Description
In this talk, I will introduce some works on the propagation phenomena of reaction-diffusion equations with periodic measure coefficients.
The first one is about an optimal problem of spreading speeds of KPP equations in periodic media. We show that the periodic Dirac delta distribution can provide the largest spreading speed when the average value and the period of resource are fixed.
The second one is about a bistable travelling wave problem in the fire-diffuse-fire model of Ca2+ release. In this model, the resource has a natural distribution as a periodic Dirac delta functions.
