A parametrization of simple modules for non-commutative algebras with large centers

Let H be a non-commutative algebra that is a finite module over a finitely generated center, in particular, an affine Hecke algebra. In this talk, I will construct the Lafforgue variety, an affine scheme equipped with an open dense subscheme whose geometric points parametrize the simple modules of said algebra.
